David Abels

David Abels is a co-founding partner of Abels & Annes, P.C., a personal injury firm with offices in Chicago, Illinois and Phoenix, Arizona. Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, Dave has dedicated his career since 1997 to representing personal injury victims in auto accident, premises liability, wrongful death, bicycle, pedestrian, motorcycle, and truck collision cases. He began his legal career at the Henry County State's Attorney's Office, where he handled more than 20 jury trials across traffic, misdemeanor, and felony prosecutions, before returning to Chicago for criminal defense work in Cook County. In 2008 he formed Abels & Annes, P.C. with longtime Chicago personal injury litigator Gary Annes. His work and commentary have been featured in the Washington Post, Miami Herald, San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post, and USA Today.
