Edward is an accomplished litigator and talented personal injury attorney who has tried and won numerous cases in both state and federal courts during his almost 40-year career. He wants clients to be treated fairly in the legal system, so he strives to serve as a compassionate advocate on their behalf. Edward served as the President of the Allen Law Firm from 2018 to 2024. In 2025, Edward, with his son, Parker Allen, obtained a $24 million settlement for the family of a young woman killed as a result of a collision with a dump truck. This recovery is the largest wrongful death settlement in Virginia history, doubling the previous record. Also in 2025, Edward and Anna Katogiritis obtained a $6 million verdict in Hanover County, VA on behalf of a motorcycle operator where the defendant's vehicle failed to yield the right of way. This verdict was the largest verdict recorded in Virginia in 2025 in any personal injury or wrongful death case. Edward helped spearhead the firm's expansion to Northern Virginia. He joined Allen & Allen in 1987 after graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
