Paul Tharp

Paul Tharp, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at A&S Personal Injury Lawyers (Arnold & Smith, PLLC) specializing in personal injury, workers' compensation, and appellate and post-conviction matters. He has represented injured parties and crime victims for over two decades, securing multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, and has successfully argued criminal and civil appellate and post-conviction cases before all the state and federal appellate courts.

Tharp's notable case work includes motor vehicle deaths, civil rights cases involving excessive force and wrongful arrest, and post-conviction relief appeals throughout North Carolina. Before law school, he taught high school English for three years.
