Stuart McCluer

Stuart H. McCluer is a Managing Partner at Ashcraft & Gerel, LLP, with nearly 20 years of experience representing plaintiffs in complex commercial litigation. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for clients ranging from State Medicaid programs to rice farmers, with extensive experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare fraud cases. He served as outside counsel to the States of Mississippi, Oklahoma, Ohio, Montana, and Utah in healthcare fraud matters and was appointed to the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee in In re McKesson Governmental Entities AWP Litigation, a nationwide RICO class action that settled for $82 million. He earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law, then clerked for the Honorable Callie V.S. Granade, Chief U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama.
