Giorgia Turpen

Associate Personal Injury Attorney Giorgia Turpen was born in Padova, Italy and attended an English International School until the age of 18, when she moved to California to attend the University of San Diego (USD) in the summer of 2009. Her father is a lawyer in Italy and he passed on his passion of the law to Giorgia. While in college, Giorgia focused her studies on the law intending to go to law school. From sophomore through part of her senior years in college she worked as a felony paralegal at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. She thought she wanted to be a criminal attorney or a prosecutor. Prior to graduating from USD, she worked for six months as an international relations associate at the World Trade Center of San Diego working with trade commissions and guests from all over the world visiting the San Diego area to establish business and trade ties. Her passion now lies in advocating for injured victims including car accidents and other personal injury accidents. After graduating from USD in May of 2013, she pursued a Juris Doctorate at Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, NC. While in law school she interned for criminal defense firms and worked for two years in the in-house legal department for the Electric Power Research Institute practicing in the areas of corporate law, intellectual property law and data protection. After obtaining her law degree, Giorgia and her husband moved to Colorado.
