Hoffmann earned his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he was a scholarship recipient and served as Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy and President of the Moot Court Board. Growing up on a small family farm in rural North Dakota, Hoffmann began his career at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders, a major Nevada insurance defense firm, before becoming a partner at Arin & Associates, P.C.
