About David White
David W. White is a partner at Breakstone, White & Gluck. He decided to attend law school while doing environmental work in Vermont, where he saw lawyers as key players in making a meaningful difference. His practice has included the representation of injured workers in construction accident cases, medical malpractice cases involving failures to diagnose cancer, anesthesia injuries, orthopedic injuries, and other serious personal injuries from medical negligence. He has handled several wrongful death cases involving auto accidents and construction accidents, and has argued appeals at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court. Mr. White served as President of the Massachusetts Bar Association for the 2007-2008 term and received the Massachusetts Bar Association President's Award in 2017. He was selected as one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's Top Ten Lawyers of the Year in December 2004, and has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in personal injury litigation from 2004 through 2022, including Top 100 Massachusetts Lawyer recognition in multiple years. He founded the Westwood Land Trust, Inc. and chaired the town's open space committee, and was appointed to Westwood's Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee in 2013. He is also a Commissioner on the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission.
