Jim Dwyer

Jim Dwyer is the Managing Partner at Bridge City Law in Portland, Oregon, with over 30 years of experience handling personal injury cases including automobile accidents, motorcycle injuries, bicycle accidents, and pedestrian claims.

Dwyer graduated from law school in 1987 and began practicing in 1988 at his father's firm in Eugene, Oregon. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

He relocated to Portland in 1998. He is the author of 'The Caged Truth' (2015), a book examining men's relationships, and maintains Tipping-the-Scales.com, a blog about meaningful law practice. His honors include Volunteer of the Year from the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and a BBB Torch Award (2022). He serves on the Board of Directors of the Commons Law Center, a Portland-based legal services organization.
