Stephen Brooks

Stephen K. Brooks grew up in Winter Haven, Florida, and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Stetson University before attending Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated in 1986. After working in the citrus business and real estate, he decided to pursue litigation and founded Brooks Law Group in 1992 in Winter Haven. He quickly shifted his practice to personal injury law and built the firm from a solo practice into a multi-office operation. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association, an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, and a member of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He has been selected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Florida by the National Trial Lawyers Association each year from 2009 through 2021, holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has authored several books on injury and accident law.
