About Jon Moore

Jon Moore grew up in the Kansas City, Missouri area, where he earned his Eagle Scout badge and graduated as valedictorian of his high school class of 600. He attended Northwestern University before deferring his acceptance to Georgetown University Law Center for a year to teach English and Debate at a Kansas City high school. At law school, he continued teaching, leading a practical law class at a Washington, DC high school. After graduation, Jon practiced at a small firm in Springfield, Missouri, where he discovered his preference for representing individuals over corporations. He moved to Charlotte in 2002 when his wife took a position as a TV reporter, and has practiced personal injury law in North Carolina ever since. Jon has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine every year from 2012 through 2024. He serves as PAC Chair for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
