About Holly Gallegos
Holly R. Gallegos is a personal injury attorney at Buckingham & Vega Law Firm representing individuals and families harmed by the negligence or wrongdoing of others. Born in Albuquerque and raised across Rio Rancho and Velarde, she has a deep connection to the people and cultures of New Mexico. Holly earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, and her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she served as Professional Articles Editor of the New Mexico Law Review, Vice President of the Women's Law Caucus, Treasurer of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, and Secretary of the LAMBDA Law Association. She represented New Mexico at the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition in Phoenix, Arizona, and continues to mentor students in appellate advocacy. Upon graduation she received the Tort Scholar Award for her dedication to tort law. Outside practice, Holly is involved in community outreach, has coached high school moot court, served as a middle school mock trial judge, and has volunteered in the foster care system. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, and the New Mexico State Bar Committee on Women and the Legal Profession.
