James Michael Shaw

James Michael Shaw is the founding attorney and managing partner of Carabin Shaw, P.C., a San Antonio personal injury law firm he co-founded in 1992. A six-generation Texan born in Refugio, Texas in September 1966, Shaw graduated from Rockport Fulton High School before earning his BBA in Finance from St. Mary's University in 1989. He went on to study law at Loyola, graduating from Loyola University School of Law in 1992, and has served as managing partner of Carabin Shaw for over three decades. Shaw concentrates his practice on auto accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death cases, and personal injury matters. He is licensed in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma, and is a Fellowship Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
