S. Brent Vogel

S. Brent Vogel is a medical malpractice attorney at Carter Cullen with nearly three decades of healthcare litigation experience. He was raised in Boulder, Colorado and later Tucson, Arizona, where his father was a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado. Brent earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Arizona in 1990, then received his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1994. He was admitted to the Arizona State Bar that same year and to the Nevada State Bar in 1998. For nearly 30 years, Brent practiced healthcare litigation on the defense side, representing hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers in complex, high-stakes matters. He joined Carter Cullen to bring that experience to representing patients and families harmed by medical error and preventable loss. Brent is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization requiring a substantial record as lead trial counsel.
