Melissa Brescia

At Carter Mario Injury Lawyers, Attorney Melissa Brescia is able to exercise her greatest passion: advocating for injured individuals. She has built her reputation of helping people who could not advocate for themselves in the areas of Family Law and Personal Injury. Throughout her career, she’s worked with organizations such as Brighter Tomorrows, which provides legal services and shelter for domestic violence victims, and the New York Department of Human Rights, where she investigated workplace discrimination claims. Attorney Brescia’s study of Human Rights Law and Mediation in Berlin, Germany led her to work with the Veterans and Servicemembers Rights Clinic to advocate for veterans.

She worked with the United States Senate, where she assisted constituents faced with foreclosure in applying for Federal services that would allow them to retain their homes.
