Jacob Abrego

Jacob Abrego is a personal injury attorney at Cesar Ornelas Injury Law. A sixth-generation Texan raised in Kyle, Texas, he was inspired to join the field by an uncle who practiced personal injury law in South Texas for nearly 40 years.

Abrego earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio and his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. During law school, he was a founding member and first Vice-President of the Personal Injury Association, served as a student criminal defense attorney at St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice (winning a DWI case), and worked as a Research Assistant to Professor David Schlueter on the 2020-2021 edition of the Texas Rules of Evidence Manual. He interned at Cesar Ornelas Law for two years during law school.
