About Helen Lucaitis

Helen Lucaitis brings extensive legal journalism experience to her role as Chief Marketing Officer at Corboy & Demetrio. She previously worked as a reporter for Court TV and as a legal analyst and courts reporter for FOX5 News in New York City, accumulating 15 years in legal journalism with eight years at the national level. She holds an attorney's license and previously served as Deputy Attorney General in Indiana's Attorney General's Office.

Her reporting career included coverage of high-profile trials of Martha Stewart, Rosie O'Donnell, Jayson Williams, Tyco's Dennis Kozlowski, and others. She contributed to Court TV's nationally syndicated programs including Inside America's Courts, Prime Time Justice, and Pros and Cons with Nancy Grace.

Before joining Corboy & Demetrio, she founded LawyerUp Media, a legal public relations consulting firm. Since 2011, she has directed the firm's strategic marketing and media relations, notably handling the 2017 Dr. David Dao airline removal case, generating coverage by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post, with live broadcast by CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and Bloomberg.

She serves on the Chicago Bar Association's History Museum Exploratory Committee and chairs the Board Marketing Committee at the Center for Disability & Elder Law. Previously, she held board positions with Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth and Elpides. She co-founded Avoca Diverse Learners, a support group for special needs families. In 2018, she received the Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago.
