About Ahvae Nicholas
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Ahvae Nicholas is driven by a passion for advocacy, service, and guiding clients through life’s most challenging circumstances. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University, completing her undergraduate studies in just two years, and later received her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During law school, she served as Treasurer of both the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Students Association, and gained hands-on experience through internships with the District Attorney’s Office, Probate Courts, and the Earl Carl Institute, building a strong foundation in client advocacy, legal research, and case management. As a first-generation attorney, Ahvae is committed to accessible, compassionate representation and approaches each case with professionalism, empathy, and determination. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, particularly to Grenada, where she holds dual citizenship, mentoring future attorneys, and spending quality time with family and friends.
