About Craig C. Sheffer

With over 35 years of experience at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, Mr. Sheffer holds the distinction of being the firm's longest tenured attorney aside from the three founders who opened the firm in 1987. Craig has litigated numerous high-profile cases, and has successfully resolved thousands of cases for injury victims in his career with the firm. Craig's practice focuses on catastrophic injuries caused by automobile collisions, construction site dangerous conditions, dangerous products and premises liability, as well as wrongful death cases. Craig has earned honors including an AV Preeminent® peer-review rating* through Martindale-Hubbell®. He was also selected for inclusion in California Super Lawyers®, a ranking of outstanding lawyers across more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Craig has been extremely active in Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the organization responsible for protecting the rights of injury victims and bringing about legislative change. He served on the CAOC Board of Governors for almost 20 years, and on its Board of Directors, traveling statewide to review important pending legislative changes and judicial opinions. Craig serves the courts of Sacramento and El Dorado counties as a pro tem judge in the court's alternative dispute resolution programs. After attending and swimming at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1980 and his Juris Doctor in 1987, both from the University of Oregon. Craig is an avid swimmer, and is a former collegiate All American and U.S. Masters All American swimmer.
