James Thompson

James Thompson is a Partner at Edelman & Thompson Law Firm in Kansas City. He has practiced exclusively in personal injury since 1987, specializing in serious truck and auto accidents and product liability.

Thompson has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal courts across Kansas, Missouri, and throughout the United States. He has obtained multiple multi-million-dollar trial verdicts and negotiated numerous million-dollar-plus settlements.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota in 1987, graduating with honors, and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota.
