About Marikate Reese
Marikate Reese grew up in Pittsburgh and worked at Edgar Snyder & Associates as a law clerk before joining as an attorney. She earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington, where she made the Dean's list and Executive Dean's list for multiple semesters, then attended University of Massachusetts School of Law in Dartmouth, where she graduated cum laude in the top 15% of her class and participated in criminal law club and trial practice. She also took part in the Mashpee Wampanoag Legal Services clinic. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the Young Lawyers Division and the Women in Law Division, and a member of the American Bar Association. She received the Leader for Justice award for completing more than 200 hours of pro bono work. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
