About Isaac Lopez
Isaac Lopez was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a master's degree with honors in Public Affairs from New Mexico Highlands University, then attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2021. In law school, he served as Student Body President, mentorship chair for the Mexican American Law School Association, and a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Program fellow. Upon graduation, he received the Dean's Award and the Irwin Stern Moise Award in Legal and Judicial Ethics. Isaac clerked for the Honorable Megan P. Duffy at the New Mexico Court of Appeals, then worked at a civil defense firm before joining FCHC in 2024 to represent people and families who were wrongfully harmed. He is a member of the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association and serves on the board of the New Mexico Highlands University Alumni Association. Licensed in New Mexico.
