About Meghan Mitchell
Meghan Mitchell was born in Abilene, Texas, and grew up in Bangs, Texas, where her parents were educators. She attended Midwestern State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, then taught middle and high school English and Theatre Arts for several years before entering law school at Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013. At Texas Tech, she earned top-grade awards in legal writing, family law, and criminal procedure, was a member of the Board of Barristers, and received the J. Hadley Edgar Trial Excellence Award for her work on national advocacy teams. She graduated in 2016 and was admitted to practice in Texas in November 2016. Joining FCHC's Lubbock office in 2017, Meghan has represented hundreds of clients in assault, car wreck, and oilfield accident cases. She was named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40. Licensed in Texas and New Mexico.
