A.J. Hernandez

A.J. Hernandez is a Litigation Attorney at Farah & Farah's Jacksonville, Florida office, where he handles plaintiff personal injury matters — including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall, product liability, and wrongful death. He brings significant prior experience from both plaintiff and defense sides of litigation. At his prior firm, he tried multiple state- and federal-court cases for both plaintiffs and defendants and argued an appeal before a Florida appellate court.

Hernandez is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a wider range of clients across Florida and Georgia.

Hernandez earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Florida State University and his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top 20% of his class. He received Dean's Scholar Awards, the Martha Sonnenschein Memorial Scholarship, the Best Petitioner's Brief award at the National Latino Law Student Association Moot Court Competition, and certificates in Civil Litigation and Legal Research & Writing.

He is admitted to The Florida Bar (#1020711), the State Bar of Georgia (admitted 2022), the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
