Martin Tapia

Martin F. Tapia is a personal injury attorney at Farah & Farah's Port Charlotte, Florida office, where he focuses on auto accident and slip-and-fall cases and handles a wide range of first-party insurance claims. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Tapia earned a law degree at Peru's National University of San Marcos before relocating to the United States. In Peru he worked for the Department of Education, the High Court of North Lima, and several law firms. After moving to the U.S., he worked as a paralegal specializing in homeowners' insurance and sinkhole claims while attending law school in the evenings, earning awards in his school's estate and probate clinic and performing pro bono work for immigrants seeking citizenship.

Tapia earned his B.S. in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law. He is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a member of the Florida Justice Association.
