About Todd Weglarz

Todd Weglarz decided to become a trial attorney when a health insurance company refused to cover his father's needed cancer treatments. He received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University, and his law school degree, with honors, from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. Todd has been representing victims ever since he joined the Fieger Firm in 1994. He possesses vast trial and litigation experience in all areas of civil litigation, including medical malpractice, police misconduct, sexual assault and exploitation of minors, automobile accidents, and general negligence. He has handled a multitude of high-profile cases, including the Palace Brawl cases against the Indiana Pacers and the misappropriation of likeness case against the Hurt Locker movie and its Hollywood producers. He is admitted to practice before all Michigan courts, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan courts, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, Todd has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the country, including California, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, New Jersey, Florida, Indiana and Texas. In his spare time, Todd enjoys playing and coaching ice hockey and studying American and Russian history.
