About James Frantz
James P. Frantz is the founding attorney of Frantz Law Group and one of California's most accomplished trial lawyers, with more than 47 years of experience in complex, high-stakes litigation. A cum laude graduate of UC Santa Barbara and Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he has led Plaintiffs' Steering Committee roles in the Porter Ranch Gas Leak and wildfire litigation against PG&E and Southern California Edison, securing over $15.5 billion in total recoveries for thousands of victims. Notable results include a $223 million jury verdict in a professional negligence case among the largest in Southern California history, a $55.4 million verdict against a public utility for a helicopter crash that killed four U.S. Marine Corps officers, and an $18.5 million verdict against a dietary supplement company that led Congress to permanently ban the product.
