James Michael Abernethy

James Michael Abernethy is a New York native admitted to SUNY Albany at age sixteen and graduated cum laude in 1986. He received his J.D. from Arizona State University Law School in 1989 and has practiced in Arizona since that time, with offices in Phoenix. His eclectic practice includes serious personal injury, insurance bad faith, medical and professional malpractice, securities, and commercial trial work. He has represented numerous clients with serious and permanent brain injuries and has been involved in reported legal opinions extending constitutional rights in medical malpractice actions. James is a Sustaining Member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
