After earning his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003, John served as a Federal Judicial Clerk to U.S. District Judge Janis Graham Jack in the Southern District of Texas (2003-2004). He has more than 12 years of private practice experience and was also an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary's University School of Law (2007-2015), where he taught Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
