
About James Fields-Bowers
James Fields-Bowers is a personal injury attorney at Gruber Law Offices, LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He previously spent several years as an Attorney at the State of Wisconsin Public Defenders Office, where he handled a high volume of cases from pretrial through disposition and advocated for clients in numerous jury trials.
Fields-Bowers earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School on a Thomas More Scholarship. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Regent University and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law Studies from Marquette University. He is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Fields-Bowers is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of African-American Lawyers. He has been a teacher at Vessels of Honour Church in Mequon, Wisconsin, for more than 10 years and an active member for more than 20 years. He was born and raised in Milwaukee.
