About Randall Strauss
Randall E. Strauss is the Managing Partner and a leading employment litigation attorney with an extensive record in California and federal courts. He was a central figure in a complex age discrimination case involving 130 plaintiffs who had been wrongfully terminated; after more than six years and two trials, the case settled for $37.25 million. For that work, he and partners Gary Gwilliam and Robert Schwartz were finalists for the 2016 Trial Lawyer of the Year award given by Public Justice. Mr. Strauss received his B.A. from UC Berkeley in 1988 and his J.D. from UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law in 1993, where he had previously attended Golden Gate University School of Law on a full tuition honors scholarship. Outside the office, he plays guitar with his band, follows the San Francisco Giants, and spends time with his family.
