
About Valerie Loya
Valerie Loya is an Indianapolis personal injury attorney at Hensley Legal Group, PC, where she serves the Spanish-speaking community in Indiana. She joined the firm in December 2019.
Loya began her legal career as a prosecutor in Marion County after being admitted to the Indiana bar in 2016, litigating cases ranging from low-level misdemeanors to attempted murder. She earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2016 and her B.A. cum laude in Political Science and Government from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013.
Loya is recognized as a Super Lawyers honoree and has received the Indiana Lawyer Diversity in Law Award and the Indiana Lawyer Leadership in Law Award. She is a Distinguished Fellow Member of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. She serves as Division Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Hispanic Lawyers Division and on the board of La Plaza, Inc., which advocates for the educational success of Latino students and connects families with social and health services in central Indiana. She is also an active mentor with Starfish Initiative.
