About John Kelly

Hon. John F. Kelly, Ret., joined Hollingsworth Kelly as Of Counsel after serving on the Pima County Superior Court bench for 22 years. He served on the Juvenile, Civil, Criminal, and Family Law Benches, and was presiding Juvenile Court Judge from 1996 to 1999. During his tenure, Judge Kelly presided over wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and general negligence cases.

Before the bench, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for 10 years, focusing on civil litigation. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College in 1966, a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 1968, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 1974. Judge Kelly is listed in Arizona's Finest Lawyers and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in addition to the Arizona courts.
