About Craig Shirley
Craig Shirley was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University, where he was a member of the baseball team, then received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 2019. At Cumberland, he won multiple national trial competitions, including the National Civil Trial Competition, and was twice selected for the invitation-only Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition, finishing as runner-up for best advocate nationally. He began his legal career in insurance defense work, gaining direct experience in how insurers evaluate and defend claims, then joined Hollis Wright in 2021. His practice covers automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, and industrial accidents across Alabama and the Southeast. In 2025 alone, over four months, Craig obtained more than $12.5 million in jury verdicts for his clients. He is recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
