Laurie Del Percio

Laurie Del Percio leads the Horn Law litigation team, regularly handling complex injury and death cases involving auto and truck collisions, medical error, premises liability, and work and industrial accidents. Since joining Horn Law in 2002, she has obtained many notable personal injury and medical negligence verdicts and settlements, including six cases listed in the "Top Verdicts and Settlements 2009" published in the Missouri Lawyers Weekly. In 2026, she was recognized as one of "America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators," an honor received by fewer than 0.5% of active U.S. attorneys, and was named one of the "Top 25 Motor Vehicle Accident Attorneys" in Missouri by the National Trial Lawyers. She has been named a "Super Lawyer" by her peers for fifteen consecutive years, placing her in the top 5% of practicing attorneys in Missouri and Kansas. She has also been voted one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" in Missouri by the National Trial Lawyers and one of the top 10 personal injury attorneys in Missouri by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. She is a member of both the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Prior to joining Horn Law, Del Percio practiced insurance defense, representing large insurance companies in personal injury litigation. She has appeared before numerous state and federal courts, including trial courts in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, and Arizona, and U.S. District Courts in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Iowa. She successfully argued the Johnson v. McCullough case before the Missouri Supreme Court, which addressed jury selection procedures. She is a recipient of the Thomas E. Deacy, Sr. Memorial Trial Practice Award and is a member of the Order of Barristers. Her cases have been featured in Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and she has helped Horn Law clients recover over $24 million in settlements, judgments, and appeals in the past five years. Del Percio earned her Juris Doctorate with Distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1999 and her Bachelor of Arts in History with Distinction from UMKC in 1996.
