
About Leyda Castro
Leyda Castro is an attorney at Hurst Limontes LLC in Indianapolis, focused on personal injury law and combining corporate compliance and insurance coverage expertise.
A native of San Cristobal, Tachira, Venezuela, Castro graduated 5th in her class with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Catolica del Tachira. She earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating with distinction and Dean's List honors.
During law school, she participated in the Hispanic Law Society and provided more than 50 hours of pro bono service, assisting tenants facing eviction in small claims court in Lawrence, Indiana. She also creates social media content to help international attorneys pursue U.S. licensure.
She is licensed in Venezuela and Indiana and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division.
Castro is married to Konrad Schmid, also an attorney at Hurst Limontes.
