About David Akerib
David Akerib joined Jacoby & Meyers in September 1999 as Managing Attorney after being admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995. Originally from Singapore, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from the National University of Singapore in 1988 and subsequently pursued a Master's in Jewish Philosophy at the Ohr Somayach Institution in Israel. He practiced personal injury law for four years before joining the firm. Over his time at Jacoby & Meyers, he has managed countless personal injury cases from initial client contact through depositions, handling motor vehicle accidents, trip and fall, dog bites, construction accidents, and slip and falls. He focuses on resolving approximately 60-70% of cases prior to depositions and provides individualized service on no-fault issues, lien resolution, and workers' compensation matters.
