About Armando Lara
Armando Lara was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Arizona in 2016 at age 19. During college he worked as a citizenship coordinator at a non-profit, collaborating with volunteers and lawyers to assist more than 100 legal permanent residents on the path to citizenship. He went on to St. Mary's University School of Law, graduating in 2023. As a law student he interned at a medical malpractice firm defending claims against hospitals and doctors. Before joining the Gamez Law Firm, he worked as an insurance defense attorney handling premises defect claims and commercial trucking cases, which gave him close knowledge of the tactics insurers use to reduce compensation for injured people. He joined the Gamez Firm to advocate for injured clients rather than against them.
