Elizabeth Crawford began her legal career as a clerk for a Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice before joining Kline & Specter. After five and a half years, she was promoted to partner in 2019 following significant victories securing hundreds of millions in verdicts and settlements. In May 2026, Crawford and Shanin Specter won a $49.5 million verdict in federal court in Chicago against Boeing for an Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 MAX8 crash victim. They previously secured the first related verdict of $28.45 million in November 2025, totaling $35.847 million with prejudgment interest. Crawford achieved over $100 million in settlements in 2024. In December 2023, she negotiated a $19.5 million settlement in Delaware County medical malpractice involving a college student with brain injury. Earlier that year, she secured an eight-figure settlement in New Jersey for paralysis following spinal surgery. In 2022, Crawford achieved a $19 million settlement for a birth-related brain injury, $8 million in train accident recovery, $9 million for another birth injury case, and an eight-figure aviation settlement, totaling over $50 million that year. As lead counsel, Crawford won a $4.7 million medical malpractice verdict, among Montgomery County's largest. She obtained multi-million-dollar settlements against Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Hershey Medical Center, and Geisinger Medical Center. As co-counsel, she secured $7 million in Delaware County, $5 million in Monroe County, and $5 million for a Philadelphia hospital negligence death case. Crawford was involved in a record 2016 Philadelphia settlement regarding 14th Amendment violation and intentional infliction of emotional distress following police arrest and release leading to sexual assault. She litigated helicopter crash cases, achieving eight-figure settlements, and represents families of babies with severe hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy from obstetric negligence, obtaining eight-digit settlements. Crawford serves on the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee for Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 victims, representing estates of a U.S. global health analyst, U.S. physician, and United Nations environmentalist. She received the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star designation (2019–2025), ranking among the top 2.5% of attorneys 40 or younger.
