
About George Zindel
George Zindel is an attorney at Kline & Specter with a background spanning law, finance, and public service. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, cum laude, and initially served as a judicial law clerk for former Pennsylvania Attorney General Judge Gerald J. Pappert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to this, he worked as an extern in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office, focusing on money laundering and supervised release conditions.
Before joining Kline & Specter full-time as an attorney, Zindel clerked at the firm for nearly two years while in law school, researching topics including choice of law, statutes of limitation, and the MCARE Act. He also worked as a summer associate at Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia and as a paralegal at a firm in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
Zindel's pre-law career included work as a FINRA-licensed investment banker and financial analyst at Macquarie Capital in New York City. There, he managed private equity-style investments through the Principal Transactions group, participating in deals including a $200 million government services contractor buyout and a co-investment in a $2 billion take-private of a travel services company.
At La Salle University, where he attended on a full scholarship, Zindel earned bachelor's degrees in finance and political science with highest honors. He was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society, received the Finance Department Award as the top graduating senior, and served as three-year president of the mock trial team, during which the program's national ranking increased by 112 positions.
At the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, Zindel served as senior editor and received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award. He was co-president of Penn Law's trial team and competed as a champion and semifinalist in several competitions. Additionally, he has coached trial teams at Roman Catholic High School and Villanova Charles Widger School of Law, and sits on the Executive Board of Trustees of Roman Catholic High School. He interned as a policy intern for U.S. Senator Pat Toomey's 2016 campaign.
