About Priscilla Jimenez
Priscilla E. Jimenez is a partner at Kline & Specter who joined after gaining experience with a federal civil rights office, a Philadelphia hospital, and another city law firm while maintaining active leadership in the Hispanic legal community. She is an accomplished classical violinist. Jimenez has been recognized by The Legal Intelligencer as a Lawyer on the Fast Track. The independent rating service Super Lawyers selected her among the state's top lawyers for five consecutive years (2022-2026) and previously (2015-2021) as a Pennsylvania Rising Star, an honor reserved for attorneys 40 or younger representing the best 2.5 percent. She appears in multiple editions of Best Lawyers in America, including 2024. WITF recognized her as one of Pennsylvania's 100 Most Influential Latino Leaders. Philadelphia City Council members honored her in 2019 with a citation for advocacy on behalf of injured workers and other injured clients. In March 2024, Jimenez achieved a $32 million settlement with Hahnemann University Hospital in a medical malpractice case involving a severely brain-damaged child following delayed cesarean section. Previously at Locks Law Firm in Philadelphia, she was co-counsel in a trial resulting in a $2.25 million jury verdict for a head injury victim. Prior employment included work as law clerk with Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals' Office of General Counsel and assistant with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. She is fluent in Spanish. Jimenez served as past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania and its Legal Education Fund. In 2020, she was elected president of the board of directors of Concilio (Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations of Philadelphia, Inc.), Pennsylvania's oldest Latino nonprofit social service agency. She received dual appointments in 2018 as diversity chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Pennsylvania minority governor to the American Association for Justice, elected by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. She chairs the Diversity Committee of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. At Gordon College, Jimenez received the A.J. Gordon Scholarship. At Drexel's Kline School of Law, she earned multiple scholarships and honors in health law concentration and was named a Dean's Scholar for Torts. She was selected for Drexel's 2017 "40 Under 40," the university's annual compilation of "40 most innovative, impressive and inspiring young alumni." The Philadelphia Business Journal recognized her in 2017 as a "Millennial to Watch," and Impacto newspaper named her in late 2016 as one of the "Delaware Valley's Most Influential Latinos." During law school, Jimenez served as co-president of the Latin American Law Students Association and student representative for the American Health Lawyers Association. She competed nationally on Drexel's award-winning mock trial team. She received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyer's James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy. She holds membership in the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, where she serves as board member and editor of The Verdict publication. The Bronx native is a classical violinist trained at The Juilliard School of Music, selected from 40 students for the Music Advancement Program, and performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
