Paulette E. Chapman is a partner at Koonz McKenney Johnson & DePaolis LLP in Washington, D.C., with nearly four decades of experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation law. She has represented plaintiffs since 1988. Chapman is a longtime leader in the D.C. legal community, serving as past President of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (2007-2008), the Women's Bar Association of D.C. (2003-2004), and The Barristers (2013-2014); current President of the Council for Court Excellence (2025-2026); and a former member of the D.C. Bar Board of Governors (2006-2012).
