Brian Mersman

Brian J. Mersman is an attorney at Lambert Zainey Smith & Soso in New Orleans, focusing on complex maritime, environmental, and personal injury litigation. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brian moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University Law School, one of the nation's premier institutions for maritime law, where he earned a specialized Certificate in Maritime Law in 2018. He holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and French from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. Since joining the firm in 2018, Brian has dedicated his practice to representing individuals harmed by negligence and is an active leader in the legal community.
