About Dianne Sawaya
Dianne Sawaya was born and raised in Denver and has devoted her career to representing injury victims throughout Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder as a pre-medicine student, earning her B.A. in 1976. She then received her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1980, where she also clerked for a Denver District Court judge. Dianne is licensed to practice in Colorado and the District of Columbia, including U.S. district courts and courts of appeals in both jurisdictions. Early in her career she worked as a staff attorney for JC Penney Corp., as a consulting attorney for the National Housewares Manufacturers Association, and as a partner at Sawaya, Rose and Sawaya, P.C. She later founded the Law Offices of Dianne Sawaya to bring a more personal approach to personal injury representation. Her practice focuses on victims of car, motorcycle, and truck accidents, those injured on the job, and others harmed by negligence. She is a founding member of the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers (NAMIL), a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and a Top 100 member of the National Trial Lawyers. She has also published two books on injury law and co-authored a mineral law journal article. Her pre-med background allows her to communicate clearly with treating physicians and explain complex medical issues to clients.
