
About Jim Puga
Jim Puga is a nationally recognized trial lawyer focused on personal injury and medical malpractice who has secured multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. He won the largest medical malpractice jury verdict in Colorado history, $17.8 million, on behalf of a child with brain damage. A third-generation Colorado native, Jim graduated cum laude from the University of Denver and then earned his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law on scholarship in 1989. He spent several years at a prominent corporate defense firm before dedicating his practice entirely to plaintiff-side medical malpractice and birth injury work nearly 20 years ago.
