Background
Steven M. Levin is the Founder and Senior Partner of Levin & Perconti in Chicago. Practicing since 1976, he is a pioneer in nursing home abuse and neglect litigation and one of the first attorneys in the country to prosecute these types of cases. He co-founded the firm in 1992 with John Perconti and his sister Susan Novosad. The firm has recovered nearly $1 billion in settlements and verdicts. Steve is nationally recognized for his work on behalf of victims of medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and birth injuries. He has lectured at more than 40 seminars nationally on nursing home litigation, trial techniques, deposition strategies, and elder abuse cases.
