About Matthew Peluso
Matthew J. Peluso is a partner and trial attorney at Lipsig, Freund & Wisell, PLLC. He joined the firm in 2019 with over eight years of litigation experience, having previously represented insurance companies at a defense firm. Shortly after admission to the New York State Bar, he began trying cases and has tried over 30 cases to verdict across all five New York City boroughs, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. He was named partner in 2025. Matt specializes in representing injured construction workers in Labor Law claims against property owners, developers, and contractors, and handles premises liability cases against property owners who fail to maintain safe conditions. During law school, he worked for the Westchester District Attorney's office in the Public Integrity Bureau and provided pro bono representation to students in New York City public schools.
