About Latoya Hickman
Latoya Hickman is a Pre-Litigation Attorney at Lorenz & Lorenz Accident & Injury Lawyers, working from the firm's Waco, Texas location and serving plaintiffs in personal injury matters across central Texas. Before joining Lorenz & Lorenz, she served as a government attorney protecting Texas consumers — including roles as a Staff Attorney at the Texas Department of Insurance and other State of Texas positions, and at the Law Office of Denise Nance Pierce.
An army brat raised primarily in Austin and Dallas after traveling across the country with her family, Hickman earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Criminology from Texas Tech University, graduating with honors and receiving the Dean's highest academic recognition. She earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, where she excelled in academics and leadership.
Hickman is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
