John Ayers

John D. Ayers is a personal injury attorney at Marks & Harrison who represents plaintiffs and focuses primarily on auto accidents. Born and raised in Hanover County, Virginia, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech.

Ayers left Marks & Harrison in 2016 to serve as General Counsel for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, lobbying the General Assembly on behalf of personal injury attorneys and their clients, and returned to the firm in 2021.
