About Kelly Elder

Kelly Elder's practice focuses on representing people injured by professional negligence, such as medical malpractice, or by defective drugs and adverse reactions to vaccines. After graduating from George Washington University Law School in 2019 with honors, Kelly began her legal career at the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., where she clerked for the Honorable Marian Blank Horn. In 2021, she joined Martin & Jones out of a strong desire to fight for individuals who have been wrongfully injured or harmed. While in law school, she was recognized as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and was selected to represent clients as a student-attorney in the George Washington Law Vaccine Injury Litigation Clinic. She served as Executive Articles Editor of the quarterly journal of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and was a member of the Moot Court and Mock Trial Boards. Prior to law school, Kelly graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. She was a Dean's List student and a member of the University Honors Program. Kelly is a Greensboro native.
