Fejir Ugurlu

Fejir Ugurlu is an Associate at Meirowitz & Wasserberg who represents seriously injured victims in personal injury matters. She is licensed to practice in both New York and Turkey, and brings an international perspective to her work, having previously held roles at United Nations headquarters and Turkey's Permanent Mission to the U.N.

Fejir studied law in Germany and Turkey before earning a master's degree from Brooklyn Law School, where she received numerous scholarships. Outside of her legal practice, she is an advocate for women's rights and a professional chess player.

She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Turkish and Istanbul Bar Associations.
